A native of Southwestern Pennsylvania, I attended school at Pittsburgh Technical Institute. While there, I received an Associate of Specialized Technology Degree in Graphic Design and graduated, with Honors, in July 2003.

 

I began my career in Graphic Design at 84 Lumber working in the Sign Shop. From there, I quickly transitioned to the Marketing Department as a Graphic Designer. After 7 years, I wanted to challenge myself and learn more, so I accepted a position at The Greenbrier as Graphic Designer. Due, in part to my contributions, The PGA TOUR recognized The Greenbrier with its 2011 Best Branding and Signage Award for The Greenbrier Classic golf tournament. To push myself even more, I began seeking agencies, and accepted a position at The Manahan Group as Senior Graphic Designer. Being part of an agency has broadened my creative skills and knowledge, and has given me the structure of a business and work process I need to professionally succeed. This success has been reflected in the numerous PRSA, ADDY and Telly Awards presented to The Manahan Group; even being awarded "The Best in West Virginia" by PRSA for the Fox Trot for Parkinson's Research. Next was a move to Columbus where I became an Art Direcor of e-mail communiction for Darden Restaurants. While there, I created national e-mails for Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Eddie V's , Seasons 52, The Capital Grille and Yard House. After a brief stint of working contract design positions, I accepted a full-time position with DSW as a Digital Production Specialist. My contributions included the relaunch of the DSW VIP program, multiple phases of Checkout Optimization, and maintaining current online and app brand standards.

 

I take great pride in overcoming marketing and advertising challenges with totally innovative solutions. I treat every project—whether big or small—with the same high-quality approach. I also have an impassioned belief that collaboration is an essential part of the creative process—success should be a shared journey.

 

Status quo is simply not an option for me creatively. I strive to consistently push my imagination in exciting new directions and continue adding to my award-winning portfolio of exceptional creative work.
